Elliott A. Alman is an attorney practicing in Upper Montgomery County, MD, including the communities of North Potomac, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Rockville, as well as Frederick, for more than twenty (20) years. His practice primarily includes the areas of family law and domestic relations such as separation and divorce, custody, child support and visitation, alimony, asset and property distribution, adoption and guardianship, personal injury and medical negligence, wills and estates, and immigration law. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and virtually all federal courts in those jurisdictions. Mr. Alman has maintained his own private practice since 1982.

Elliott A. Alman received his B.A. from the City University of New York, his M.A. from the State University of New York at Albany, and his J.D. from the Catholic University of America Law School. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Bar Association of Montgomery County, Maryland, the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, and the Bar Associations of the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. He has been an officer of the Family Law Section of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America since 1998 and served as Chairperson of the Family Law Section from 2001-2002. He has chaired and presented legal education sessions through the Montgomery County Bar Association and ATLA, and has written about Family Law.

Elliott is an avid runner and has completed several marathons.
